Explore Irvine’s Summer Drive-in & Concert Series
Living in the middle of Irvine means easy access to great dining, shopping, and plenty of recreational activities. Though if you are like us, you have had to get creative in your Skyloft space for unique date nights and family time over the last few months! As things continue to change, Irvine and Orange County are coming up with new ways to enjoy everything we love about our local community before summer is over. Check out our list below and take advantage of the local events coming up while maintaining social distancing guidelines for your next date night or family movie night!
Drive-In Movies:
Planning your next movie night just got easier! Irvine Spectrum Center is hosting drive-in movies throughout the week to change up your routine. Movies start at dusk, but we recommend getting there early for the best parking spots and a live concert! Ticket prices are $50 per car and include a $20 gift card for snacks and food or enjoy delivery from the Cheesecake Factory right to the upper parking area! The current movie lineup for this summer drive-in series is available for the last few days of July, including Knives Out and The Goonies!
Summer Jazz Sessions:
Eating great food in Irvine is simple with plenty of dining options for all dietary needs right at your fingertips. Bistango, located less than five minutes from Skyloft apartments, serves up delicious food for curbside pick up weekdays for lunch and daily for dinner! If you are looking to enjoy dine-in options while safely following social distance guidelines, you can enjoy their open-aired outdoor patio! Grab your mask and stop by for a live Jazz concert series and great food on the patio from 6 p.m to 10 p.m Wednesday through Sunday!
Irvine Summer Drive-in Series:
Looking for a new way to spice up your socially distanced Saturday night? Beginning August 1st enjoy movies on the big screen and live concerts from the comfort of your car every Saturday through the end of August at the Irvine Summer Drive-in Series. Pack a picnic basket or plan to enjoy some of the best local and gourmet food trucks at Orange County’s Great Park. The lineup for the month includes family-friendly movies like Sonic the Hedgehog and plenty of music from decade classics to soft rock. Currently open to Irvine residents only with limited space, reserve your spot here.
