Fun and Adventure at Orange County Great Park in Irvine

Spring is the time to be outdoors and enjoy the best nature offers. Situated in Orange County, only seven miles from the Pacific Ocean, the city of Irvine offers its residents a sense of community where family, business, and nature meet to co-exist harmoniously.

Well known as America’s safest big city, Irvine has plenty of things to do, everything from shopping and dining to sports and recreation. Great Park Irvine is one of the main attractions. The Great Park covers about 1,300 acres and offers activities and events for all interests throughout the year.

Exhibitions

The Great Park Gallery and the Great Park Artist Studios are located in the Palm Court Art Complex. The Gallery presents an exhibition program throughout the year.

Walkable Timeline

The Great Park is built on former military land. Visitors can take a walk down history and discover the most significant military events of the 1940s.

Sports at the Park

Sports enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy the 194-acre Sports Complex, home to baseball, softball, a soccer stadium, and the Great Park Ice Arena.

Kids Area

Great Park Irvine offers many fun activities for kids, including the Great Park Carousel, The Farm and Food Lab, and the Kids Rock Playground. On Sundays, you can visit the Farmers Market and if you are in for some excitement, take a free ride in The Great Park Balloon, a giant tethered helium balloon that holds 30 passengers. This ride is a fun and safe activity for the whole family, and on a perfect spring day, it gives you a 360-degree view of Orange County.

Within walking distance or only a short drive away, you’ll find plenty of entertainment at Skyloft apartments. So whether you’re in the mood for a delicious meal, a day at the museum, or a lazy afternoon, you can choose from plenty of fun things to do close by.
