Great Golfing in Irvine

One of the best parts of life here in Southern California is the pleasant weather year round. And when the weather is pleasant, the best place to be is on the course! We’re practically surrounded by beautiful courses, and it’s easy to find a great course to while away an afternoon. Here are the top 3 golf courses in Irvine to get out and hit the links!

Pelican Hill

Ok, sure – this one isn’t technically in Irvine.  But with sweeping ocean views, legendary course design, and storied past, we thought Pelican HIll was worth a mention. The incredible Newport Beach coastlines this lush green course, providing a picturesque 18 holes. If you want to make a day of it, enjoy a massage after your round, or grab a bite at the Pelican Grill, nestled in a sprawling Italian style resort.

Strawberry Farms

Gently wending its way around the Sand Canyon Reservoir, Strawberry Farms offers rolling hills and scenic views. The well groomed fairways and pristine greens offer a challenge for every skill level, and their online specials can help keep this course from breaking the bank.   Plus, with the course sitting among real strawberry patches, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a sweeter smelling course!

Oak Creek

Oak Creek presents a slightly more ambitious golfing challenge, with tighter fairways and more wooded areas and water hazards to envelope any stray shots. But those trees and water make it a truly beautiful course to explore. A vibrant, green, relaxing round ends at the 19th hole set in a large Spanish Villa style clubhouse. And if you want to squeeze in a bucket of balls at the range but feel it might be too late, don’t worry; the range is lit so you can swing away into the late evening. Make sure you go on a beautiful day. Oh wait, that’s every day in Irvine!

Whether you are a beginner or you’re on your way to the PGA Tour, these courses in and around Irvine will give you a challenging and enjoyable round of golf in a beautiful setting.
