Thomas Schoos
Renown Interior Designer & Tastemaker
Neuerberg, Germany; West Hollywood, California
Skylofts’s signature interior looks were the work of Thomas Schoos and Senior Design Partner, Lisa Gill, whose
world-renowned firm has designed everything from celebrity homes to some of the country’s top restaurants. Their design approach was,
as Thomas puts it, “a journey that inspires and evokes emotion.” The intention was to create a symbiotic design
relationship with the architecture – honoring the creative structure, and juxtaposing soft, rounded interiors against the straight
edges of the building.

Adam Schwerner
Horticulture Design
Laguna Beach, California
The lush grounds and organics throughout the Skyloft community were the vision of Adam Schwerner. As the son of two
artists, Adam has lived with and around creativity since he was a child. What has always occupied him as a landscape designer and
maker is the interaction and tension that comes of hybridizing the natural and human made. “There’s a place, as these two
things cross paths, where a happy medium happens.” Adam currently works as the Director of Horticulture and Resort Enhancement
at the Disneyland Resort.
